House addition on a steep hillside and under an existing deck that had failing footings. Customers design would not have been possible without Postech Screw Piles. Piles were installed under the existing structure to a depth and torque that could support the new and existing structure. Tops of piles are tied in with rebar then encased in the concrete to form a grade beam type foundation. Piles are approximately 8 to 10 feet deep which would not have been possible to excavate to due to the slope of the hillside.
